Of course I had to add green March 2013 printables as well.

To use my printables, just right click on the printable you want, save the photo as a JPG file to your computer. Then you can import them to a Microsoft Word document and print them. Easy!

I should probably learn how to use a downloading service. I don’t have much patience to learn technical stuff. Something I need to work on.

An evening in downtown with friends: The Finnish a cappella group Rajaton's concert.

Some more pictures of our new home. This one shows our white laminate flooring. Wide planks. So easy to keep clean.

  

Africa’s new morning spot is on the love-seat in the dining area. He can recharge his solar energy in the morning sun.

Close-up of the kitchen counter top. Laminate called “brushed aluminum”. More my style than the various granite counter tops out there.

Floor to ceiling wardrobes in the master bedroom. Four sections. Covers the wall opposite from the bed. We do have a walk-in-closet too but a chunk of it will be taken out eventually to make room for a larger bathroom.

And here are the March 2013 Project Life journaling cards. 

I just finished this book. A World War II story from a young German woman’s perspective. Adds insight to what life was like for the ordinary Germans during the war. These WWII books are hard to read but I find it’s important to remind ourselves of what happened so that history will never repeat itself. It's unfathomable to think that some people can be so evil. 

The book is well written and even though the subject matter was the horrible war, there was much beauty in the book. Reading the book made me think about what is most important in life. What would I do in such a situation? Would I have the strength to hold on to my values and morals?

Four out of five stars.

A story of a girl who dies for eleven minutes and comes back with some “side effects”. I found the story somewhat intriguing but wanted more out of it. The bad language drove me nuts throughout the book.

A woman arrives in Canada after Second World War and marries into the Kramer family. Turns out she isn't who she claims to be. The book is written by her daughter's perspective whom the woman abandons when she is a baby.

I found this book utterly boring. Kept waiting for something to happen the whole time.

Vampires have taken over the world. The main characters (two girls) are being held in a “farm” where they are “kept safe” and have to donate blood regularly. The story of their escape and what happens after.

Again – a somewhat intriguing story but I wanted more out of it. Not in the same league with Hunger Games as the cover of the book claims. A good read but not great.

Some bad language throughout.

Three out of five stars.

Skip this one! Not a beautiful disaster but a complete disaster, in my opinion. I feel like the author kept trying to brainwash me into thinking that a guy who has sex with every girl around, smokes, drinks too much, is violent and volatile, is a real catch. I hope girls/women are smarter than that. The book is also R-rated. Yuck!

Not as fancy as the above homes but I’m still super excited how our new home is turning out. The counter top (brushed aluminum laminate) looks more silvery in real life and has texture to it, it's not just one color. 

Check out the flock of birds flying by our house yesterday. A sign of spring perhaps?

Some free printables. Happy Monday! 

Still busy organizing our new home. We finally got our kitchen countertops on Friday. First they told us we’ll get them in a week. Then it turned into three weeks. Then four. Then five. Then an extra day. Then extra two days. Then they promised to have them done by late morning. Not ready then either. I wonder if we would have ever got them unless my husband went and told them enough is enough, they better be at our house by 2pm or else. Very unprofessional and annoying of them to keep changing the date and time million times. Just tell us it takes five weeks and don’t lie!
