Must share this even though my blog is pretty much dead by now. I have a friend who loves tea so I made this herbal tea gift for her. I think Lionel Richie should start a tea company. What do you think? A great idea?

[brownEs April Fool's prank]

Want to have some fun for April Fool's? I can't remember where I saw this idea to make special April Fool's "brownies" for someone. Brown letter E's to be exact. J

I used two paper plates. On one I flattened some playdough so that the "treat" would feel heavy enough for brownies. I taped another plate on top and placed the brown E's on it. Covered it all with foil and added the card.

I can't believe it's back to school time already. Summer went way too fast! Noticing some yellow in the trees and mornings are quite nippy. I do love fall though, my favorite season. But like summer - it just doesn't last long enough. Winter is a real time hog where we live.

Earlier today I was stuck in traffic wishing there was an overpass so I wouldn't have to wait for a slow train to cross the road. While waiting, I listened to a fun interview with Suzanne Heintz and how she got tired of people asking her if she's ever getting married so she purchased some mannequins as her "family". Now she takes photos of herself with her "family" to raise awareness that not everyone wants or has the opportunity for a traditional family.
