{sunrises and Christmas art}

Some gorgeous sunrises we've seen lately.

 

Sienna started making her own nativity.





Chocolate boxes wrapped as snowmen. These large ones are for Sienna's teachers. I think we'll make small ones for her class mates.

{colored rice}

colorful rice in a plastic container with a lid = indoor sandbox.

4 cups (1 litra) rice

2 TBSP (rkl) food coloring

3 TBSP rubbing alcohol

put in a large ziplock bag. mix well. let dry.

use rubber gloves as the food coloring can stain. i used red food coloring and it made pink rice.

i saw the weirdest thing i've ever seen in the sky the other day. this really long orange "snake". the color was brighter than in these pictures. it was so cool!
