[gorgeous]

Look what I learned to do! Wide, flat braids are so gorgeous. Five strand braid is what I normally do but this stacked one is even wider than that. It would have turned out even better had I wet the hair first.

Cute Girls Hairstyles has instructional videos for all sorts of braids and other hair styles. Check them out. :)

[I'm seeing teeth nowadays. Lots and lots of teeth.]

More excuses for not blogging. This time a really good one. We just opened up a denture clinic from scratch (what an undertaking that has been, to say the least) and after being a stay-at-home-mom for the past 9+ years, have returned to work part time as a receptionist (my husband is the denturist, not me). I'm sure I will still keep blogging sporadically as I have been. I don't know what rhyme or reason this barely alive blog has anymore but for some reason it's still fun to come and share something here every once in awhile.

My mother-in-law and I put these waiting area chairs together. All six of them. What a pain in the butt project that was. At one point we just started laughing like crazy. People complain about mother-in-laws but mine sure is super awesome. Always willing to help us and so supportive of all we do. I'll never forget the fun we had trying to put these chairs together.

I must say that it has been kind of fun to shop for a brand new clinic. We mainly used neutral colors throughout the clinic but our logo is green apple colored so there are green accents here and there. Still a work in progress. Trying to decide what to put on the walls next. Marketing is always the tricky part too. Takes time to build up clientele. What's a clinic without patients, right? :) Wish us luck. :) I'm counting on "If you build it, they will come." :)

[interesting]

I just have to share this blog post of peculiar burial rites of Tana Toraja in Indonesia. What an interesting read! Check it out.

I love the Amusing Planet blog. Cool stuff!

[Super important blog post! Please read.]

If there ever was a cause to be involved in - this is it!

Have you heard of Operation Underground Railway? I read this article about how Timothy Ballard started this organization and it broke my heart to realize what is being done to so many children in our world. I had no idea how extensive the sex slave industry is. I can't believe that there are so many people who would hurt and abuse children to demand all these child victims. To think that such evil even exists, breaks my heart! This has to stop! We have to do something! We can't just sit in our comfortable homes and do nothing while these children are being used and abused. Shame on us if we do!

People involved in this organization are real life heroes. With our money donations, they can continue this more-than-important-work and expand their organization so that hopefully one day we can say that we have truly abolished slavery.

You can make a difference in a life of a child by not ignoring this post but by clicking the link below and donating. Please help save these children! Become an Abolitionist. Raise awareness about this important cause by sharing on Facebook, on Twitter or on your blog.
