[New Year stuff]

Thinking about making New Year's resolutions? Here's a free printable for you. Plus a free printable on how to make your goals into reality. (I made this handout for a lesson I taught at church. Hence the step #12.)

Looking for a cute calendar? Just print a bunch of these either full page size or maybe two per page. Leave room on the left to punch holes, if you want to put them in a binder. This would also make a great Menu Planner or a To Do list. That is one of my goals for this coming year - to plan our suppers better and to learn new recipes.

Check out my New Year Pinterest board for ideas for New Year's parties, etc.

[retail design]

Any kind of creativity is welcomed by me. Hence my window displays Pinterest board. I snapped some photos while out and about Christmas shopping so I can share with everyone.

[bye bye Elfie!]

Elfie's gone but he left an Elfie ornament for us plus a small toy for Sienna to wake up to on Christmas morning.

Loved having you around again, Elfie!

The ornament was made by taking a photo of Elfie, printing it on cardstock and then gluing it on scrapbook paper.

Merry Christmas everyone or Merry Whatever-you-celebrate-even-if-it's-just-time-off-from-work.

Hope you get to spend some quality and quantity time with your family and friends. We went skating today (our daughter's first time) and was it ever fun. It's only been about 30 years since I've last skated. Shouldn't forget about the simple joys of life for such a long time.

All the best in 2015! Thanks for following my blog. No promises of a busier blog but I'll try not to let it completely die at least.

[3D snowman art & silly Elfie]

More amazing kids' art from our daughter's school - 3D snowman! You can make one with 1 part of white glue + 3 parts of shaving cream (foaming kind).
Have I mentioned how much I love kids' art? (Only about fifty billion times.)

Oh, Elfie!

[busy Elfie]

I always have a few super simple ideas for Elfie for those evenings when I don't want to do much. New Christmas movie. I hope it's a good one. I noticed afterwards that this is unrated. Hope it doesn't mean that it has crude humor in it or something.

Last year, after Christmas, I went to Target and found a bunch of Christmas stuff on sale for 90% off. These gift bows included. Gotta love good sales. Perfect time to purchase next year's wrapping paper etc.

[an onion a day, keeps the doctor away]

I might have or might not have eaten three of the four marshmallow Santas I purchased to put in our stockings. Even before having breakfast. I won't admit anything. :)

Happy Friday everyone! Only four more days of school after today. Yey!

[What did the gingerbread man put on his bed?]

Hiding in the Christmas tree.

Don't you just love kids' art? I love looking at all the art in the hallway of our daughter's school. This snowman is so hilarious! I wish my art was even half as good.

Only five more days of school. Yey!!

[Elfie & Christmas ornament]

Candy kebab.

Nananananananana Batman!
Our daughter hung Elfie upside down from his legs when she found him. Looks better that way.

Made about a million of these as gifts for a JOY themed Christmas party. At least it felt like a million once I finished punching the cutouts out and attaching strings.
