Three hours and my sister + family will be here. :)

I'm still feeling awesome even though I was too excited to sleep last night (went to bed at around 2am). I keep waiting to crash and feel like my normal self (no energy...) but so far so good. Hope this lasts. I seem to be even breathing easier (I have allergy related breathing problems, can barely breath in the summer). Could just a few doses of oriental herbs and bunch of acupuncture needles really work this fast and this well... I'm still keeping my fingers crossed. I don't want to go back to looking for suitable meds... I'm not even tired in the morning when I wake up like I usually am. I'm being cautiously hopeful...

Did tons of cleaning yesterday and yet didn't get everything done. I discovered I have a great little carpet cleaner. I can't believe I haven't used it before. It's so handy and carpets smell great afterwards. Got rid of some stains I couldn't get rid of before. I normally just use Oxyclean when the cats puke up hairballs (which happens quite a bit, sad to say). I had some weird looking dark spots on the carpet that Oxyclean didn't seem to get rid off. Turns out they were Africa's black fur deeply imbedded into the carpet. The wee carpet cleaner got them right off. I'll be using that baby a lot from now on. Should listen to my dear hubby more often. He kept wondering when I was going to try out the new cleaner and I was stuck using Oxyclean thinking it was doing it's thing. And it does work magic but I guess there are some things that need a powerbrush carpet cleaner, not just me rubbing with a cloth. :) I sure was dripping in sweat yesterday. Thunderstormy humid hot weather. Thank goodness it's cooler today.

I should be napping but guess who's too excited to almost to sit still and write this... I'm all bouncy bouncy. Giddy. I'm sure I'll crash later when I've stayed up until the wee hours of the night chatting with my family. I'll be the one jet lagged. :)

So, I don't know how much I'll be writing here for the next little while. I'm sure I'll find some time to sneak in here every once in awhile. It seems like everyone's in the vacation mood anyways. Who wants to read my blog when they can be out enjoying the summer. :)

I'll do another quick posting here now and then adios for now. :)

Ta-daa! Tanyan paketti. Voi kun saisikin tallaisia paketteja joka viikko. :) Pitaisikin aloittaa "keep Suomi Sanskun elamassa" hyvantekevaisyys. Osaanottajat laittaisivat paketteja vuorotellen tanne minulle. :) SUPERKIITOKSET Tanyalle taas. Sienna sanoi Tilda kortista: "She looks like me!"

Jep, omasta pikku mokista on unelmoitu kovasti. Jarven rannalla. Soutuvene. Kallioita. Sauna takkahuoneeneen. Itikkaverhollinen ullakkomakuuhuone. Luonnonkukkia. Tikkataulu. Kiikku. Kaikenlaista omatekoista askartelua ja sisustusta. Rasymattoja. Kynttiloita. Nuotioita. Marjoja. Riippumatto. Ah!

Helle pisti nukkumaan huonosti. Sienna ended up in our bed. This is how she sleeps. Major bed hog. Her foot is on my stomach and the other would be on Jay's if he wasn't taking the picture. :D

Muuta:

*I am NOT allowed to buy any more chocolate almonds. They disappear way too fast.

*Another sweaty hot hot day. And I'm supposed to be cleaning the house. I can barely stand just sitting here.

*About 49 hours and my sister + family will be here!!!!!!!!! Sure hope it cools down so I will get the house cleaned. I'm so excited!!!!! I have been planning for places to visit while they're here.

*Coincidence? I'm feeling a lot better already. I've had a lot clearer/less tired mind today. I'm being hopeful...

*Off we go to Costco... Have to start the car and wait for couple of minutes for the car to cool down enough to get in it. Thank goodness for air conditioning!!!! Hopefully Costco will have room air conditioners as well. Neeeeeeeeed one!!! Or ten! :D

ps. I've forgotten to mention that of course I wasn't even a finalist in the scrapbooking competition. My style is just so different from people over here. Not enough stuff on my pages. I should have showed them that I'm capable of doing all kinds of techniques and styles. I just like simple - it's hard to pretend to like something else. My dream of having any kind of part time job with creative skills is dwindling fast. Anything I try - flops. Oh well, c'est la vie. Just have to keep it as a hobby, not as a possibly income earning thing. Would have been nice to earn a bit on the side from something you like doing.

Another +32C day. No wind tonight = guess who won't be sleeping much tonight. Probably will end up sleeping in the basement again but it's not that cool even there now .

Went to see an acupuncturist/chinese herbalist today. I used to see him some years ago and then he moved his office and I was lazy to travel "all the way there" (even though it wasn't too bad, just a bit past downtown). Well, all my troubles lately with my new medication (I have tried four different ones and keep getting bad side effects) made me think of Darren again and I thought I'd see if he can work magic with my annoying health problem. Sienna was playing in the reception room when Darren started putting the acupuncture needles on. Then she came in the room and of course she was like "what?!!" but I just explained calmly that it was helping mommy like medicine and she went back to playing. I can't believe the needles didn't scare her knowing her anxieties about other things. She was playing so nicely by the way and being so polite. People couldn't believe what a well behaved kid she was. Sienna tends to be a bit shy in new situations and she does play more quietly and less hyperly as other kids it seems (usually anyways). Lucky us. :) She does know to be silly and crazy too, don't you guys worry. ;)
Anyway... There really is something to this energy work stuff. While I was lying there with all the needles in me, I could feel energy starting to flow in me. It's so hard to explain. I always could feel energy stuff when I worked as a massage therapist as well. I don't have a clue how it works, but I know that energy is a real thing in us human beings.
Darren gave me some herbs as well. I'm so hoping these will help as I don't want to go back trying to find a western medicine (with side effects) that would work for me. Keep my fingers crossed...

Then - lots of this YYYYYYYYYYYY to my blogging buddy Tanya/Villa Kanerva!!!! Love you Tanya! Yep, I got your package today and LOVE IT!!!! You couldn't have sent any better stuff than this. Thank you so much!!! Omasta pikku mokista haaveilen taas... Kuvittelen olevani Suomessa. Siennan kirja on minunkin mieleen niin. Hauskaa luettavaa ja naureskelin jo tosi makeasti muutamille jutuille sita selatessa. Tosi nappiin osasit valita siis nama jutut. Laitan tanne myohemmin kuvat "saaliistani". Ah.
