***This is what we did this weekend.
We went to the Calgary Zoo. These are the only animal pictures I took. I decided to mainly just enjoy the trip this time and not worry about taking pictures.

***The beautiful flowers made me take my camera out a couple of times.

***Couldn't resist taking some posing pictures at least. Sienna loved riding the lion.

***We even ran into some dinosaurs while there. How about that - they're not distinct after all. :) Sienna was so brave and patted them a bit. :) They must have just eaten since we came out of there alive. :)

***After eating Mexican food at Chili's we went to our hotel (which was nice & new). We spent the evening swimming and enjoying the hot tub. Lots of fun!
We only stayed for one night. It was a perfect little mini vacation.

ps. The funniest thing happened when we were trying to find the hippos. We couldn't see them in their water tank. Next thing we know there was a big commotion to our left, just up the stairs. One of the hippos was blasting poo all over the place! That stuff was everywhere (including on some people)! There was a little warning sign that said the hippos might "spray". I think they need a bigger, stronger warning sign than that. Neon lights flashing. :D
We thanked our lucky stars that we had just passed the point where this "lovely incident" happened. :)

Ompa teillä ollut ihana reissu ♥ Mä katsoin dokumentista miten virtahevot heiluttaa hännällään sitä kakkaa ympäriinsä samalla kun kakkaavat, oli niin ällön näköistä puuhaa että! :D Onneks ollaan ihmisiä.

ReplyDeleteKoo ratsasti kesällä puustaveistetyllä karhulla. Siennalla toisenlaiset eläinkaverit, leijona ja dinosaurus :)
